This year's American Craft Week celebration, to be held October 7-16, will bring together individuals, small businesses and organizations from all fifty states in recognition of the countless ways handmade objects enrich our daily lives and contribute to our national aesthetic and economy.

We hope you will join XYLOS along with artists and galleries all across the country, as we Celebrate American Craft. Our "New Work 2011" exhibition runs until the end of October. And, we especially invite you to visit the gallery for our Artist Reception on Friday evening, October 14! You'll see lots of new work by some of the finest woodworking artists in the region. Not only that, but you'll get to meet the makers.

Xylos Welcomes New Partner

Xylos is proud to announce the arrival of Peter K Pestalozzi as our newest partner. Peter hails from Ely, Minnesota and has been working wood for over 30 years. XYLOS New Work 2011 Exhibition

Please join us at XYLOS for our annual New Work 2011 exhibition, October 6 - 31, at our gallery at 50th and Xerxes in Minneapolis. The highlight of the nearly month-long exhibition will be the Artist Reception on Friday, October 14, from 7 – 10 pm. There you'll have an opportunity to meet the artists, who will be on hand to answer your questions.

XYLOS is a cooperative gallery of twelve area artists who work in wood. Each of us, working in our own studios, make one-of-a-kind pieces that are sure to capture the eye. We invite you to visit our showroom in Minneapolis to select from the work on display or to meet with an artist to discuss the benefits of having a piece handmade just for you.
