Changing with the Times

The client wanted to continue using their classic Dakota Jackson chairs but needed to downsize their table to use in their breakfast area as well as serve for a card table with friends in the evenings. Peter Wright’s solution was to respond to the feel of the chairs using a laminate veneer top echoing the chairs’ molded ply seats and backs in cherry but with maple of the area flooring. And the “modernist–industrial” leg structure of the table is ebonized oak rather than wrought iron of the chairs. A successful solution and a pleased client!
